How to Get Visa to Nepal?
All the tourists who plan to explore Nepal must bring valid Passport, Visa or any legal documents equivalent to the Passport issued by your local government prior to application for Visa. Except visitors from SAARC countries and Chinese tourists, all other foreigners need to pay certain amount for Visa fee. It can be acquired for the following period from the Nepalese Embassy/Consulate, other Mission offices or from these immigration offices at entry points in Nepal:

Tourist Visa Extension
A tourist visa can be extended for a maximum duration of 150 days only in a single Visa year (Jan-Dec). Visa extension for15 or less days is US$ 30 or equivalent convertible currency. Likewise, visa extension for more than 15 days is $2 per day. The extension period for multiple entry facility can be obtained by paying extra US$ 20 or equal convertible currency and visa fee for extended period.
Gratis Visa
It is available for 30 days for the tourists from SAARC countries only. Indians nationals don’t require any Visa to enter into Nepal.
Transit Visa
A tourist can obtain Transit Visa for a single day from the Immigration agencies at the entrance points of Nepal by paying US$ 5 upon the making of leaving flight ticket by Tribhuwan International Airport.
Note: Chinese visitors are requested to apply for Visa in their own home country at any Nepalese Embassy or some other Nepalese diplomatic missions as there is no terms of an arrival Visa for them.
