Nepalese Tourism Industry Bets High on The Great Himalayan Trail

There’s a great news for the people interested in trekking in Nepal. Although its a big old news, I didn’t get time to update about it earlier. The Great Himalayan trek is one of the longest and highest walking trail in the world. The trail goes right from the east of the country to the west.You get to pass from some of the most exotic places of the Himalayan country. Some of the most popular destination include Rara Lake, Manaslu, Langtang via Tilman Pass, Everesret and Makalu.

A team of trekkers including 21 times Mt. Everest Summiteer Apa Sherma and his members completed the train walking 1555km in 99 days just last week. Other trekking groups have started to go on this trek.

This trail is not for everyone though. Most of the people don’t get to take as much as 3 month for trekking and even if they do, not everyone can finish this off. Of course one can leave it halfway through but then thats another case.
